When you’re first making the switch to green beauty products, the easiest (and most pocket-friendly) products to start with are natural and organic body care products. It makes sense to start with them first as you apply them to the largest areas of your body. And you use them almost every day. But perhaps you’re thinking you’ll have to sacrifice quality for safety. Or that natural cosmetics are boring and unglamorous. Here’s the great news.
You don’t have to choose between quality and safety! In fact, the natural & organic beauty products I use on a daily basis are actually much better quality than my old mainstream products. And they’re anything but boring or unglamorous! So today I’m going to share some of my favourite natural and organic body care products with you. And I just know you’re going to love them too! So let’s get started.

Disclaimer: Some of these products contain affiliate links which means I may receive a small commission if you decide to purchase them. But this will have no extra cost to you. As you know, I only ever recommend products and brands that I absolutely love and use myself in both my professional and personal makeup kits. So that’s how I know how amazing they are and why I’m so excited to share them with you so you’ll get the same amazing results from using them too.
NATURAL AND ORGANIC SOAP & HANDWASH
These are probably the products you’re using the most on a daily basis. But the problem with mainstream soaps and handwashes is they contain the ingredients Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
Also known as SLS’s or SLES’s, they’re foaming agents used to create a lather. However, they’re also extremely harsh on the skin and are one of the main causes of skin irritations.
Do you ever notice how dry your hands are after washing them?
Well, these 2 ingredients are a huge contributing factor to that as they strip your skin of their natural oils. Which makes them extremely drying on the skin.
If you’d like to find out what other ingredients to avoid in your cosmetics, make sure to download my FREE Natural & Organic Beauty Guide.
It contains a list of some of the most harmful ingredients to avoid in cosmetics. So it’s a great place to start.
*Liquid Soaps
I want my soaps to contain natural and organic ingredients that are good for my skin (and health).
But I also want them to smell nice and to look, well, a little bit fancy.
It’s always nice being somewhere that has ‘fancy soap’. Or am I the only one who thinks like that? 😉
For everyday use, I really love the Pure Castille Liquid Soap by Dr.Bronner. It’s made with organic ingredients that are also certified fair trade.
It’s such a great, eco-friendly product too as it’s packaged in recycled materials and the soap is biodegradable. And it’s vegan too.
As I mentioned, I really love a ‘fancy’ soap. And this beautiful Sicilian Orange Hand & Body Wash by Ecosoapia is just that. I love how it smells, it’s organic ingredients and that it’s a vegan product.
And I know I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. But I really do love how fancy this packaging looks in my bathroom!
There’s also 2 more in the series. I haven’t tried them yet but I’m sure I will at some point.
Absolutely gorgeous and also very budget-friendly too.

*Solid Soap Bars
If you prefer a solid bar of soap, you can’t go wrong with the gorgeous solid version of the Pure Castille Soap Bars by Dr.Bronner.
There are 6 to choose from including lavender, citrus (one of my favourites!) and even peppermint.
Solid soap bars are also a great eco-friendly option as there’s no extra or unnecessary additional packaging with them. Again, this product is vegan-friendly.
NATURAL AND ORGANIC HAND CREAM
In addition to soaps and hand washes, hand creams were one of the very first natural and organic body care products I ever used. And for me, there’s just 1 winner in this category.

*Lavera Basis Sensitiv Hand Cream
This has been a staple in my handbag for many years. And at just under Eur 3 / GBP 5, it’s definitely a bargain buy.
However, just because the price is so low, it doesn’t mean this product lacks in quality.
I’ve used hand creams that are 10 times more expensive (and contain ingredients that aren’t good for my health!). And they’re nowhere nearly as good as this one!
It keeps my hands really well hydrated with absolutely no greasy or oily residue either.
I think I’ve tried every single one of the hand creams from Lavera. And I’ve loved them all. So I can highly recommend these.
No matter which one you choose, they’re all vegan-friendly too.
NATURAL AND ORGANIC BODY WASHES
I think that body washes are my favourite type of natural and organic body care products that I use. And I have plenty of gorgeous recommendations for you in this category.

*Lavera Organic Body Wash
Another organic body care product from Lavera that I’m a huge fan of. And if you’re on a budget, this is a great one for you.
It’s available in several different gorgeous aromas.
But my favourite is the Revitalising Organic Orange and Sea Buckthorn. It smells divine and feels so good to use on my skin.
It’s vegan-friendly too.
All Lavera products are NaTrue Certified. So you know you’re getting products with really nourishing, high-quality ingredients.
If you’re not sure why natural and organic certification is so important, you can find out here in this post.
*Evolve Beauty African Orange Hand & Bodywash
Okay, I am aware I have an obsession with all things orange-scented! 😂 But seriously, how could you not be when this smells sooo good!
I’m a huge fan of Evolve Beauty in general. But these body washes have to be one of my favourites in their product line.
There are actually 2 scents in the range. The other being citrus-scented, which is also amazing!
I use this as a body wash. But as the name indicates, you can also use these as a handwash.
The ingredients are so nourishing and kind to my dry skin which leaves it looking and feeling hydrated. It contains 98% natural ingredients and 72% organic ingredients.
Some of the other features I love about this product is that it’s suitable for vegans.
And Evolve Beauty is also a very eco-conscious brand and go to great lengths to ensure every single piece of their packaging doesn’t have a harmful impact on the environment.
NATURAL AND ORGANIC BODY SCRUB
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you’ll know how big a fan I am of body scrubs. They’re a must-have for glowing, hydrated skin all year round. Here are my favourites.

*Corinne Taylor Detox Himalayan Salt Scrub
This is one of my absolute favourite organic body care products. And for good reason.
For starters, the list of ingredients is just gorgeous. And some are even Soil Association certified organic too.
Not only does this beautiful body scrub do an amazing job of removing dry, flaky skin. It’s also lovely and moisturising.
I love how it leaves my skin looking and feeling hydrated and glowing for days after I use it.
It’s also great to use to prep my skin for self-tanner as it leaves my skin hydrated and smooth. An all-round beautiful product.
This is another vegan-friendly product, as are all the Corinne Taylor products.
*Potentia Body Scrub
I’ve mentioned in the past how much I love these body scrubs. And I’m happy to mention it again!
There are 2 scrubs in the range, the Morning Mojito Body Scrub and the Gin & Skin Tonic Body Scrub. Both are vegan-friendly.
They’re handmade in small batches. And contain just 4 beautifully nourishing ingredients. They smell amazing and leave my skin looking glowing and hydrated.
I absolutely love both of the scrubs in the range. But if I really have to choose a favourite, I’ll choose the Morning Mojito Body Scrub. Simply because Mojito is my favourite cocktail! 🙂
That’s as good a reason as any, right? 🙂
NATURAL AND ORGANIC BODY LOTION
Just as you’d apply a moisturiser on your face to keep your skin hydrated after cleansing, it’s important to do the same for your body.
So always follow up with a body lotion or balm after using a body wash or scrub.
And these gorgeous lotions are also some of my favourite organic body care products.

*Lavera Revitalising Body Lotion Orange & Sea Buckthorn
This is the perfect partner to my beloved Lavera body wash. It has the exact same beautifully refreshing orange aroma as the body wash.
And I just love how the lotion hydrates my skin so well yet soaks into my skin in seconds. One of my favourites.
Again, it’s vegan-friendly.
*Evolve Beauty African Orange Aromatic Body Lotion
If you’re looking for a truly luxurious treat for your body that won’t break the bank, you can’t get much better than this gorgeous body lotion by the fabulous Evolve Beauty. And it’s the perfect partner to the body wash I mentioned above.
It’s made of 99% natural ingredients and 90% organic ingredients. So your skin is definitely being well-nourished and cared for here.
It’s very hydrating. So it’s perfect for you if you have very dry skin.
Something else I really love how is lightweight it feels on my skin. Which means I don’t have to wait for an age before being able to get dressed!
This body lotion smells amazing.
As I mentioned above, Evolve Beauty products are vegan-friendly and packaged in eco-friendly materials.
If you’d like to use fewer plastics and have a more eco-friendly beauty routine, I’ve got 8 simple tips on how to have a zero-waste beauty routine in this post.
These are really simple things you can do every day. And they’ll have such a positive impact on our beautiful planet.
*Weleda Skin Food
This isn’t technically a body lotion. In fact, it’s a multi-use product. And it’s AMAZING. So I absolutely HAD to include it on my list of favourite natural and organic body care products.
It’s a cream-balm type texture that can be used to treat dry skin on the knees, elbows and feet. You can use it on dry hands too.
It’s also suitable to use as a facial moisturiser and as a face mask. And it can even be used as a highlighter and a face primer.
There are just so many uses for this fabulous little product. It’s a must-have in every beauty routine.
I use it every single day in some form or other. It’s truly one of my can’t-live-without beauty products.
This is not vegan-friendly as it contains beeswax. But it is suitable for vegetarians.
Have you tried some of these products already? Or do you maybe have some recommendations of your own?
If so, I’d love to hear them as I’m always eager to try out new natural and organic beauty products. Xo
